It is also believed that people tried to draw out the power of the stone by shaping it into the shape of the moon or a fetus. According to mythology, the gods Izanagi no Mikoto and Izanami no Mikoto gave a pearl called “Mikulatanano” to Amaterasu no Mikoto (the god of day), saying, “You shall rule the heavens.
